Bored and Trying to Find Something Interesting.

I was going to put more airshow pics on here, but decided against it since it takes so long to load. I'm not sure what to write about right now.
To the two who voted: what 'other' did you have in mind? Would you just continue to quietly watch? Tell me!
Mom's poor hibiscus plant finally blossomed. The poor deformed little thing took forever just to grow a flower bud. I remember the first bud it ever had, about six or seven years ago. We were all so excited because it had never bloomed before. I think we stared it off, because that bud and the next few all dropped off. Now we have a 'no-staring' policy, and it seems to have helped. It has such gorgeous flowers! They're a deep red. I'll have to get a pic of it. There's another bud on there that's due to bloom any day now, provided we don't stare at it too much.
We didn't get the music video done on Thursday. The video camera wasn't working, so we just hung out all afternoon and practiced and planned for it. Then they invited us to stay for supper and go to the final dress rehearsal of the play they are in. We were out until 11:oo that night, and then we had to get up before 7 because there were people who wanted to see the house at 8:15.
While Mom, Rapunzel, and I were out yesterday we went to Hobby Lobby and looked for a frame for my butterfly paintings. We found nothing. I have to complain, most of the frames there were black or stainless-steel-looking, and I wanted something slightly more dainty and butterfly-like. There was a white one, but it was thick and chunky and you had to be directly in front of it to see what what was in it. There was one with four frames in one, but it was a really hot pink and we didn't think it would go with the paintings. We were also at Tuesday Morning, which is sorta like Big Lots only classier, a great place to go to when looking for presents. They have a lot of stationary and cards, and tons of picture frames. There was one white frame that was (almost) perfect. Around the edges there were white butterflies, and on each corner was a light blue flower. But it was for only two pictures, and both spaces were rather small. *sigh* I'll never find what I want!
Um... let's see. I can't think of anything else to write. Except, of course, everyone check out HMS Avalon's new blog, linked at the side of the page.
And that seems to be all. There's something else, but I can't quite think of it. Great. That's going to bug me for a long time. Hmph.
